Satellite Dish Heaters - A Must Have

Do you stop in your track every time it rains or you see snow in the forecast?  Are you tired of dropping signal because of snow or ice accumulating on your satellite dish?  Most people don't realize there is a quick solution for your signal loss problems, known as a satellite dish warmer.  Be it snow or ice that is causing you to lose signal, you can install a satellite dish heater to eliminate these problems.

There are a few models available.  The first is for the Round or 18x20 inch elliptical satellite dish.  This product is sold as SKU # HS18NGRFKIT.  The other version is intended for larger elliptical satellite dishes such as the DIRECTV Slimline and International, WildBlue and HughesNet models.  This product is marketd as SKU # HSSLNGRKIT.  Both models operate the same, but the HSSLNGRKIT includes a larger power supply.  An optinal Arm Heater is also available.  This product is sold as SKU # HS14ARM.  The HotShot Arm Heater warms the LNBF support arm to assist in prevention of snow buildup.  Snow piling up on the LNBF support arm can reduce the signal enough to interfere with reception even if your dish has a heater already installed.  The Arm Heater is a highly recommended accessory in northern climates where the dish elevation angle is low to the horizon and the LNBF support arm is horizontal enough to allow snow accumulation on the LNBF support arm.  The Arm Heater easily connects to the accessory plug on the heating element.

For those satellite users in the colder climates, Satellite Dish Heaters are a near necessity.  With prices ranging from $100-150, the cost is not a large factor.  The biggest factor is being stuck in the house with no access to your satellite entertainment.  Even worse, being a proprietor and having no ability to accept credit cards.  To conclude, consider Satellite Dish Heaters as insurance against satellite service outages.
