On tripod

Nikon has grabbed a piece of rubber with just a little more grip. This makes the camera easy with one-handed operation. All that is not really what you want, when you merrily does begin to zoom. As we so often see in these super zoom cameras, the device you better put on a tripod when fully zoomed pictures you take. Although the P90 is equipped with sensor-shift image stabilization, this technique can not prevent your plates get blurry when you zoom the camera in full vibrate slightly late.

Finding and experiment
As you might expect, this feature indicates to manual settings. These are also plenty. Experienced photographers will enjoy with shutter speed, aperture, white balance, ISO settings, focus priority and so on. The buttons that do this are neatly within reach of your right thumb and forefinger placed. The brisk increase in different settings, the menus are so clear, however, much less smooth in use. Usable prints

Image quality

Two elements are fearing the worst in this area. On the one hand, the 24x zoom, and in particular the lack of precision of its assembly, which hardly seems compatible with the precision required by a sensor as dense on the other hand, the sensor itself, a 12 megapixel 1 / 2.3 "which features a little too reminiscent of some recent disappointments. In the end, so it's only half-surprised that even the lowest sensitivity, it is difficult to obtain a sharp image, the optical suffering from a certain lack of homogeneity - the quilted fall strongly periphery, especially at wide angle. The video is in VGA at 30 frames per second and requires no special comment: the picture quality is acceptable, but no more, and the sound is very much lower than that of a device designed for - not talk about camcorders, the Panasonic TZ7 is a good example.
