A Review of the Panasonic Viera TX-P42G10B HD TV
Do you want to learn more about the Panasonic 42G10? Panasonic's TXP42G10 plasma TV model features a 42" screen. This TV set comes with Intelligent Frame Creation Pro, Viera Link, V-Audio surround, a Freesat tuner, and Infinite Black features, all standard.
With the integrated Freesat on the Panasonic TXP42G10 you will be able to receive up to 140 channels of digital entertainment with out a monthly bill. The Freesat channels are broadcast to you via a satellite so you do need to have a satellite dish for receiving these transmissions. There isn't a monthly fee for receiving these channels, unlike Sky TV.
Panasonic's Intelligent Frame Creation Pro technology with 600Hz is designed to make the picture smoother during motion on the Panasonic TXP42G10B .
By creating a series of intermediate frames and inserting them between the video signal's original frames the effect is to produce smoother fast moving motion. Although a higher rate of 600Hz operation is found in the Panasonic's system the priniciple is similar to other manufacturer's offerings including Sony's MotionFlow 100Hz and Samsungs 100Hz Motion Plus technology. With more detail and less blur, the outcome is a smoother image.
If a high contrast ratio is important to you, the Panasonic 42G10 has a contrast ratio of 40,000:1 and a massive dynamic ratio of two million to one. What this signifies is that you get extra degrees of color gradation. This means that details increase in visibility even throughout the darkest scenes when watching the TX-P42G10. Most LCD and flat-screen plasma TVs have tended to make the screen look washed-out and blocky when the picture got dark. This is no longer a problem for the TX-P42G10 and other new televisions, so your picture will always be of high quality.
The V-Audio surround function will produce a surround sound style listening experience without the need for multiple speakers around the room.
