Waxing, on the other hand, can last up to six weeks. Unfortunately, it's painful, as you are ripping the hair out by the root. And, once the hair starts growing back, you have to let it grow to at least a quarter of an inch before you can wax again. Not a pretty sight.

While there is no guarantee that laser hair removal will be permanent, for many people it is a far better alternative to other hair removal methods.
